Account security

Four habits that usually keep a stranger out of an account.

How to protect a Wilder account

A strong password

Use a password that is not the same as your email password. A password manager beats a note on the desk.

A second check

If sign-in can ask for a code from an app or email, turn that on. Do not send the code to chat or to a stranger.

The site address

Look at the domain before you type a password. Look-alike letters and extra hyphens are a reason to close the tab.

Mail and links

A link in a message may not go where the sender claims. Open the site the way you opened it yesterday.
